Justin Chong

Client Service Officer

As a Customer Service Officer at Synergy Private Wealth, I enjoy helping people navigate important financial and administrative processes that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I take pride in supporting our advisers and clients behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. I’m motivated by problem-solving, learning new things and finding ways to make life easier for our clients.

Before joining the financial services industry, I worked as a promoter demonstrating electrical products. One experience that really stood out was introducing customers to a power outlet system called Eubiq. Many people had never seen anything like it and didn’t realise a solution like this existed. Being able to explain how it worked, answer their questions and see their reactions change from confusion to excitement showed me how rewarding it is to help people discover solutions that genuinely improve their everyday lives. It also taught me the importance of listening, educating and making complicated things easier to understand — something I continue to value in my role today.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing badminton and going snorkelling. I also have a community-minded side, having volunteered at local aged care facilities and nursing homes while living in Malaysia. I enjoyed spending time with residents, sharing conversations and helping organise activities that brought a little extra joy and companionship to their day.

Something you might not know about me is that I have a pretty unique and unexpected laugh that usually gets other people laughing too. It’s become something of a trademark among my friends and colleagues!
