I originally wanted to be a stockbroker. I was always good with money, picked up smart saving habits from my parents early on, and figured that was the path. But as the industry shifted and stockbroking moved online, I realised what I actually wanted was to be closer to people and their decisions, not further away.
Financial advice gave me that. The decisions that land on my desk aren't small ones. They're the ones that keep people awake, the ones that shape how someone's next decade looks. I want people to walk away from our conversations feeling clear and in control, especially when things are complicated or the stakes are high.
You see the real impact of this work during the moments nobody plans for. I've sat with a widow, weeks after losing her husband, and walked her through how everything had been structured. Showing her that the planning they'd done together meant she was going to be okay. She gave me a hug at the end of that meeting. Not a lot of professions give you that kind of moment.
The trust families place in you over years, through the good and the hard, is something I don't take lightly.
Outside the office, I spend a lot of time with family and friends. My son and I box together, which is a great way to stay fit and connected. I'm a committed Ferrari fan on the F1 calendar, and on a hot summer's day you'll find me sharing a limoncello or Aperol Spritz with mates.
I'm also a Justice of the Peace for South Australia.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be? Why?
My childhood hero, Michael Jordan. I'd want to know what kept him going when things got hard, and how he stayed that driven for that long.

If you could live in any city in the world for a year, where would it be and why?
Rome. The culture, the people, the food. I'd love to live alongside all that history for a year.
