I'm an organiser by nature. I'm in my element unraveling, sorting and structuring things into shape.
It's the people part of my role that I enjoy the most. Training the team, getting the best out of them, and working with clients is what I love about my role.
Clients often thank me for listening when they needed it most. Losing a partner, a health scare, suddenly managing finances they've never had to think about. It's understandably overwhelming for them, and after 30 years doing this, I know how much that support means.
Outside of work, I'm a dog fanatic. If there's a dog anywhere nearby, I'm distracted until I've had a pat. I only have one dog, but, if I could, I'd have many more. My favourite wind-down is walking my pup through the pine forest after work.
I'm addicted to audiobooks - I listen to one to two fiction books a week. I love the beach, fitness classes, and spending time with family and friends. Our family is heavily involved in local footy and cricket, and I'm still on the sidelines cheering for our adult kids.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be? Why?
I would have dinner with my Mum. She passed away 20 years ago and has missed so much of our family’s life. It would be nice just to have her back, even if it’s just for a short time, to catch her up on everything.
What's your favourite quote?
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” – Aesop
The one book you recommend everyone needs to read?
It's very hard to recommend just one.
Some of my favourites: Project Hail Mary, The Art of Racing In The Rain, Theo of Golden, The Frozen River and The Nightingale
What’s your go to karaoke song?
Hallelujah or American Pie
If you could live in any city in the world for a year, where would it be and why?
Lucerne in Switzerland. It's the most beautiful place I have ever been. Having lived a few different places in Australia though, I would have to say that Adelaide is a pretty good place to land.
